It never ceases to amaze me, just how wrong Charles Church can get, and how they can make mistake after mistake after mistake. I’m convinced they do it just to make you ask them to stop . . . after all if they can’t fix something, why have them in the house trying, surely it’s all designed to wear us down and get us to accept something which is not nearly good enough.

In speaking to owners and reading the press and internet articles and forums, I’m of the opinion they are as bad as each other. Both are trading names of the Persimmon Group plc.

Our experience continues to be a nightmare that we hope to wake from one day. We have surveyors, the NHBC, and even Charles Church workmen agree with serious faults in the home that need to be fixed. Yet Charles Church management continues a game, with delay and denial, and misleading claims, all making the process harder than it needs to be. They won’t commit in writting, they fail to honour agreements, and forever argue about what they actually meant or what they said. It’s all a game to them, but one which the individuals are responsible for helping the company to play. A company can not perform an action without it’s staff to carry that action out.

  • Bob: Perhaps the New Home Builders are enjoying the econmic climate a bit TOO MUCH :(
  • M. Farley: Walked around a new Charles Church Show Home last week, and found same issues discussed above, noisy bouncy floors. when will they fix this? From read
  • Debbie Brown: Neat idea! Can't beat something that makes cake easier to eat and carry.
