Claims that Charles Church, “specialises in high-quality homes”

Posted on: September 8, 2009

Good Lord, I couldn’t beleive this statement I read in a Persimmon Group plc news story – The group added it had successfully rolled out its Charles Church business, which specialises in high-quality homes in northern counties with demand at “very pleasing” levels – one found the same lowest specification construction items used in both Persimmon and Charles Church, for example floor joists. What’s underneath can be identical, from joists and design and workmanship, with the surface gloss (kitchen units, doors) being the difference. And then on your deeds your Charles Church home can be listed as being Persimmon anyways . . .

It was clear to us, with the Charles Church homes we’ve investigated, they failed to demonstrate evidence of high-quality.
